PFP’s announces inaugural attendance at Baltimore Comic-Con and Diamond Retailer Summit

Houston, TX – August 27, 2007 – Penny-Farthing Press (PFP) will be expanding their East Coast exposure by attending the Baltimore Comic-Con 2007 and the Diamond Retailer Summit in Baltimore, Maryland. Marlaine Maddux, PFP’s Editor-in-Chief expressed the company’s eager anticipation of the upcoming event: “We’ve heard lots of good things about the Baltimore Con and we’re anxious to meet the east coast fans and retailers who will be there this year.”

Along with Con exclusives, PFP will showcase their brand new 3-D animated short, The Loch, which will be packaged with a companion comic book, The Loch: Threats from Above, and is based on their popular children’s trilogy.

All Con attendees will be able to stock up on PFP merchandise at reduced prices, and PFP will gladly offer additional discounts for retailers.

PFP will also be promoting the upcoming release of their newest graphic novel series, Anne Steelyard and the Garden of Emptiness, written by bestselling author Barbara Hambly (Patriot Hearts, The Emancipator’s Wife) and penciled by break out artist, Alex Kosakowski. It is a historical and mystical adventure following the struggles of a daring, female archeologist is pre-World War I Mesopotamia. PFP hopes to release the first of three books in the Anne Steelyard series, An Honorary Man, by the beginning of 2008.
